As one of the few bands from the glory days of thrash and deat metal in the late 80's, Infernal Majesty are a very unique band. They were spawned from an era where metal ruled supreme. From a time when bands like Death, Sepultura, Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Malevolent Creation & Napalm Death ruled the world. They stood shoulder to shoulder with the best of them and played concerts with most of them. Considering that they are a Canadian band this is truly a miracle. Since the release of "None Shall Defy" on RoadRunner Records in 1987, Infernal Majesty have been leaving their mark on the metal scene ever since, having played countless concerts and appearing in most major music magazines for the last 15 years. In fact not many of these great bands have withstood the test of time and continued on with their craft. Many have died off or come back with a very watered down version of what they used to be.

This spring with the release of "One Who Points To death", Infernal Majesty has not only continued on but is about to release their heaviest album to date. With in injection of their new drummer they will shock the metal scene with an album that sounds like it was written in 1988 but with 2004 technology. With a cross between "Hell Awaits" & "Altars of Madness" this new album will sure please the youth and the veterans of the metal kingdom. While most metal bands grow softer over the years with every new album, Infernal Majesty becomes heavier with every new release, the way metal was meant to be. "One Who Points to Death" is packed with old school thrash crunch and modern death metal intensity. Get ready for some infernal mayhem!
